Drive to the state line/casino area just inside the Nevada border and head north on highway 207 (Kingsbury Grade). Turn East on this scenic mountain drive for 3.1 miles to Tramway Drive. Turn right onto this street until you reach the Tahoe Summit entrance and the unit (4) at 750 Wells Fargo Lane.

TO HELP YOU FURTHER:

In the summer this area can experience chilly nights so bring a summer jacket or sweater for those evenings out.

The high altitude and clean mountain air give sunlight a special quality. Bring your camera and capture outstanding pictures. Colors are bright and vivid.

People can develop a deep tan in a few days so bring skin protection.

Each Tahoe Summit home has a fireplace convenient for warming up after a day of skiing.

Your unit is on a prime location and is considered an executive-calibre resort.

An excellent taxi service is available. However, we urge you to rent a car. Given the physical setting, we are sure that you will want to explore the area around Lake Tahoe.

OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCES:

In the winter, the Tahoe Stateline area can boast America's largest concentration of skiing. Most ski areas offer a variety of skiing experiences - beginner, intermediate and advanced runs.

Over twenty outstanding downhill areas offer a variety of vertical drops and a number of lifts have different prices. Don't forget that we are only minutes away to the ski slopes of Heavenly Valley. All slopes are distinctive and offer thrills for pros and beginners. Squaw Valley at the Northeast corner of the lake was home to the 1960 Winter Olympic Games. Cross-country skiing is 10 miles away. Snowmobiling or even helicopter skiing are both available. The vistas overlooking the lake while you are skiing are breathtaking. This truly is a piece of heaven.

The casinos such as Caesars, Harvey's, Harrah's and the High Sierra offer excellent shows and outstanding well-priced meals. Remember Lake Tahoe is a favorite place for performers. Take in a show and then dazzle your friends with your luck while gambling at one of the many casinos.

In the summer there are Sunset Dinner Dance Cruises on the Tahoe Queen. The water is so clear and pristine that glass bottom boat tours are also offered.

Several marinas provide boating choices that vary from ski boats, parasailers and wind surfers. For the fishermen, fly-fishing in the rivers or trolling the depths for the famous Mackinaw will satisfy the most ardent sportsmen.

Golf courses abound - 12 surround the lake and each one is outstanding. The Edgewood Golf Course is rated as one of the top ten Golf Courses in the USA.

For back packers, day hikes and horseback riding over trails can excite the novice to the most adventurous person. The 72 mile trip around the Lake has been described as the most beautiful drive in America. The lake, the largest alpine lake in North America is 22 miles long and 12 miles wide.

If time permits why not take a day trip to historic Virginia City or visit the famous Ponderosa Ranch.
